Highlights from Week 7 football games around the state on Thursday-Saturday:

6A

No. 2 West Linn took care of No. 1 Lake Oswego in the national spotlight 38-16. Lions QB Sloan Baker threw for 217 yards and four TDs and rushed for another score to lead the offense. Josiah Molden caught two of those TDs while Viggo Anderson controlled the ground game with 128 yards. … 5A No. 3 Dallas put up a good fight but ultimately fell 42-27 to 6A No. 3 Willamette. The Dragons had Landon Holbrook rush for 128 yards with a score and Aidan Galusha rush for 82 yards with two TDs. … No. 4 Central Catholic blanked Barlow 51-0. QB Robbie Long threw three TDs while KK Sombe scored twice on the ground. Collin Cotton and Cash Mundell each had an interception.

No. 7 Lakeridge scored 28 unanswered points to take down No. 6 Tualatin on the road 45-10. Jacen Wilber and Obama Shibo each had a pick-six for the Pacers while Ansu Sanoe had two rushing TDs. … No. 8 Jesuit escaped Metro League rival Mountainside 28-23. QB Jack Wilson hit Joe Stimpson for a 62-yard TD to go up 28-16 with less than five minutes left in the game. Luke Ortner finished with 117 rushing yards and two TDs and Stimpson ended with 144 receiving yards plus the score. … No. 9 Sherwood got what it wanted in a 50-7 win over McMinnville. QB Kai Boatsman tossed three TDs while the Bowmen rushed for 341 yards as a team. Jack Wilson led that effort with 108 yards and a TD.

No. 10 West Salem blew out South Salem 55-0 thanks in part to four interceptions on defense. Landon Tomlin had two of those picks for the Titans. … Roosevelt put together a complete game in a 50-7 win over Franklin. Ju Ju Dawson had a pick-six while Geovoney Burks found the endzone twice for the Roughriders. … Lincoln pulled away in the second half to take down SW Portland rival Ida B. Wells 54-38. The Cardinals scored on every possession except its last, which included two kneel downs. Finn Davies completed four passes, all four touchdowns with two going to Blake Timothy and two to Reed Eldridge. Greyson Murff had 169 yards rushing with a TD and returned a kickoff for a TD.

Jefferson’s offense went to work in a 55-28 win over Cleveland. EJ Cozart had three total TDs, one of which was a 97-yard punt return TD, for the Democrats while Antayus Wilkins went over 100 yards rushing with two TDs. … Deckard Hale helped Grant pitch the 17-0 shutout over McDaniel. The star linebacker not only played well on defense, but had a punt that pinned the Mountain Lions on the 1-yard line to help the shutout efforts. … Beaverton went up early in the second half and held on to beat Westview 34-31. Oliver Luebkert caught two TD passes for the Beavers.

It was all Sunset in a 44-14 win over Southridge. QB Marcus Hahm threw for 180 yards and three TDs, most of that going to Griffin Ellingson who had 132 receiving yards and two scores. Ellingson also picked up two interceptions on defense and Kaleb Price had a 77-yard kickoff return TD. … Newberg survived a wild triple-overtime game with Liberty with a 48-42 victory. QB Parker Sellner had 180 yards passing with four TDs, three of them to Ethan Hein, while Chace Macken had 111 rushing yards and three TDs. … Sandy blitzed Clackamas in a 39-6 Pioneers win. James Richards rushed for 72 yards and two scores as Sandy racked up 232 yards on the ground with five TDs. 

After falling behind 6-0, North Salem scored the next 29 points to win 29-6 over North Medford. Jakai Phillips had 98 rushing yards with three TDs while the Vikings defense picked up four turnovers. … Carter Lovell helped Sprague back into the win column with a 32-21 win over Grants Pass. The QB threw for 299 yards and three TDs while the Olympians also rushed for 225 yards. Max Makarenko had 175 receiving yards with a TD while the defense came up with eight sacks. … Makana Brown hit Wes Boyd for two TDs to help South Medford down Sheldon 21-0. Alijah Ingram had an interception for the Panthers to help preserve the shutout.

5A

No. 1 Summit eased its way to a 37-7 win over Crook County. QB Andrew Guthrie threw for 187 yards and two TDs while Jude Anderson was one of three Storm players to rush for a score. Conrad Dodge had 103 receiving yards with a score. … No. 7 Lebanon pulled off the upset of the week by taking down No. 2 Silverton 34-28. Down 28-27, Brison Edwards tossed his fourth TD of the game to Logan Large in the fourth quarter to go up by the final score. Large had three TD receptions on the night along with 179 receiving yards. Edwards finished with 326 passing yards and also rushed for a TD, meanwhile Barrett Kleiven led the defense with two interceptions.

No. 3 Wilsonville took care of business in a 35-0 win over Aloha. QB Trevor Glos had 293 passing yards with four TDs, most of that going to Keona Tam who had 123 yards receiving with three TDs. Curtis Karr also had a 39-yard pick-six for the Wildcats. … Alex Toolan was slinging it and No. 5 Mountain View had four interceptions on defense to down Redmond 42-0. Toolan finished with 214 passing yards and four TDs to four different receivers. … No. 6 Thurston turned it on in the second half to take down No. 10 Churchill 27-16. Up 3-0 at the half, the Colts got two rushing TDs from Cruz Gray in the second half to keep the Lancers an arms-distance away in the final 24 minutes.

No. 9 Ridgeview recovered from a slow start to beat Bend 42-20. Ryden Nakamura rushed for three TDs on the night while QB Gage Hobbs had two rushing TDs and one more passing. … Parkrose was able to survive for a homecoming victory over La Salle Prep 43-35. Tranden Stricker rushed for 113 yards and two TDs while also throwing for 239 yards and two more TDs. Kavion Combs had a 65-yard TD run and Si’Yel Bell had a kick-return TD, meanwhile Jeremiah McCauley and Leo Patton each had an interception on defense. …McNary beat McKay 48-7 behind a 325-152 advantage in total yards. D’Sean Wynter led the way on the ground with 57 yards and two TDs, two of seven scores on the ground for the Celtics.

West Albany got back in the win column with a 48-7 win over Corvallis. Tyson Walker caught two TDs, Justice Edmiston had a 55-yard TD run for the Bulldogs and Jackson Privatzky returned the second-half kickoff for a TD. … Noah Solo rushed for two TDs and Adam Hernandez caught a TD pass from Brayden Wichersheim to lift Springfield to a 20-14 win over Eagle Point. … Crater pulled away in the second half to defeat North Eugene 29-17. Terrius Allen was at it again for the Comets with 257 rushing yards and three TDs, two of the scores coming in the second half to create the distance.

Drea Burwell scored three times to help lift Roseburg over South Eugene 49-0. Roseburg had six total rushing TDs and 258 yards on the ground as a team. Eli Smith had 107 of those yards and also scored twice, meanwhile Paxton Burke had a punt-return TD and two interceptions on defense. … Waylon Clarke scored with a minute left in the game to help Caldera push ahead of Hillsboro 33-27 and hang on for the win. That was only part of the huge night for Clarke who finished with 244 rushing yards and four TDs.

4A

No. 2 Marshfield got another great game from QB Enoch Niblett to down Hidden Valley 37-8. The QB threw for 154 yards with two TDs and also rushed for 56 yards with two more scores. The Pirates also racked up five sacks on defense. … No. 4 Scappoose picked up three turnovers in the fourth quarter to hold on to a big 39-28 win over No. 3 Tillamook. Elijah Greenan Biggs had 252 rushing yards and four TDs to power the Scappoose offense. … No. 5 Henley rode Jeremiah Brunick to a 42-13 win over Ashland. The RB rushed for 195 yards and three TDs in the win.

No. 7 Stayton dominated in a 42-7 win over Woodburn. Wyatt Kerrigan ran for 125 yards and two TDs as Stayton picked up five scores on the ground. QB Madden Hughes had 185 passing yards with a TD. … No. 8 Marist Catholic had four turnovers in a 35-0 shutout of Cottage Grove. Grady Hazen had two interceptions and three catches for 91 yards while QB Elijah Martin threw for 201 yards and two TDs. Jackson Skinner chipped in two rushing scores.

No. 10 Philomath went ahead of Junction City 27-21 early in the third quarter and held serve the rest of the way for the win. CD Nuno had a 95-yard rushing TD for the Warriors while Rocco De La Rosa had a rushing, receiving and 99-yard kickoff return TD. … Pendleton/Nixyaawii got its first win of the year by taking down The Dalles 35-13. Tugg McQuinn was everywhere with 93 yards rushing, 71 yards receiving, two TDs – one rushing, one receiving – and an interception on defense. Vance Nelson also scored two TDs on the ground and returned a pick-six.

3A

No. 2 Banks raced out to a 42-0 lead in the first half and eventually won 42-6 over Yamhill-Carlton. Lane Gilbert ran back the opening kickoff for a score while Jarrett Martin had a rushing and receiving TD. Henry White returned a fumble for a TD and also had two rushing scores. … No. 4 Dayton rode the legs of Stephen Macias to a 23-17 win over No. 8 Santiam Christian. While Macias didn’t score, he rushed for 281 yards to help set up two Ryan Mullins TD passes and a TD run for Asher Maxwell. … No. 6 North Valley cruised in a 47-6 win over Lakeview. QB Shane Sifre tossed four TD passes, two of them going to Kaid Moore. Four different Knights also rushed for a TD and Malachi Loe had 2.5 sacks.

Pleasant Hill grinded out an 18-14 upset win over No. 9 Sisters. QB Steven Bounds threw for 147 yards and two TDs with Cota Aanrud being the main target with 107 receiving yards and a TD while Jacob Neely had 57 receiving yards, 20 rushing and a TD through the air and on the ground. … No. 10 Taft had no problem with Amity in a 35-0 win. QB Kol Tolan threw for 147 yards and two TDs while rushing for 97 yards and another score. Riley Gilbreath had 96 yards on the ground with two scores and 14 total tackles on defense. … North Marion prevailed 28-21 in overtime over Valley Catholic. The Valiants had QB Alex Adams go for 312 passing with three TDs, two of them to Sam Robbins.

Douglas grabbed four turnovers to help take down Coquille 35-8. Offensively, Jaden Burkhart had 82 yards rushing and three TDs while QB Ryder Sawyer had 88 rushing yards with a TD, plus 130 passing yards and one more TD. … Phoenix scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to pull away from Klamath Union 49-19. Cody Martin had 121 rushing yards and scored both of his TDs in the fourth meanwhile QB Trae Casteel threw for 211 yards and four TDs and also rushed for a score. … Nyssa rolled to a 52-6 win over Umatilla. The Bulldogs first score of the night came on fumble-return TD by Hunter Allen while QB Kingston Bias threw for four TDs, two apiece to Allen and Antonio Gomeza

2A

Weston-McEwen was no match for No. 1 Heppner in a 61-6 Mustangs win. Heppner rushed for 369 yards, led by Tripp Stewart with 110 of those yards and three TDs. Stewart also tossed a 50-yard TD to Keaton Coiner. … No. 2 Lost River won again, this time a 46-6 win over Bonanza. Kellen Dunlea had 82 rushing yards with three TDs and QB Kyle Diaz rushed for 90 yards with a score and tossed 59 yards and two TDs. … No. 3 St. Paul was in control in a 56-8 win over Corbett. The Buckaroos ran for 357 yards with Frank Pohlschneider getting 100 yards and two TDs. Bryson Britten added 89 yards and two scores.

No. 4 Bandon rushed for 475 yards to outrun No. 5 Myrtle Point 50-38. Reggie Turner had 149 yards rushing with three TDs and also tossed a 55-yard TD to Hayden Thompson, who finished with 192 yards rushing and two scores on the ground. … No. 7 Oakland scored 21 points in the second half and kept Glide out of the end zone to win 28-6. Shepard Brooksby rushed for 152 yards and three TDs for the Oakers as they dominated possession with 22 more minutes holding the ball than Glide. … No. 9 Culver ran all over St. Mary’s Medford and won 54-12. Tyler Rahi had three rushing TDs and caught a fourth to power the Bulldogs offense. Kapp Novelli chipped in two rushing TDs as well.

1A 8-man

No. 2 Dufur got contributions from everywhere in a 48-12 win over Pilot Rock/Ukiah. Chase Peterson ran for three TDs, Chase Richards had a rushing TD, pick-six and kickoff return TD, and Choice Richards ran for two TDs and threw one to Ian Pechanec. … No. 4 Lyle/Wishram/Klickitat/Glenwood forced nine turnovers to power a 58-28 win over Echo. … No. 5 Crosspoint Christian got what it needed in a 30-0 win over Glendale. Chris Kelly rushed for 99 yards and three TDs while Crosspoint won the yardage battle 365-165. Trey Johnston had a rushing TD and two interceptions.

No. 8 North Douglas scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to put away Mohawk 36-12. Easton Mast had 132 rushing yards and two TDs while Jaycen Marois had 130 on the ground with one score. Marois also returned a fumble 96 yards for another score. … No. 9 Imbler took down Cove 50-12. Carson Yancey ran for two TDs, caught a third and had a pick-six on defense. Paden Phelps tossed two TDs for the Panthers.

No. 10 Powder Valley took down Pine Eagle 34-0. Jordan Little rushed for two TDs and caught another TD pass to help the Badgers, meanwhile Cash Thompson had a 30-yard fumble return TD. … Camas Valley beat Prospect Charter 22-6. Tatum Sexton ran for 125 yards with a score while Tanner Cummings pitched in 117 yards rushing with a TD. Levi Cranston had two sacks on defense.

1A 6-man

No. 1 Harper Charter had somewhat of a test this week, but still passed with a 59-26 win over No. 6 Sherman. Madoxx Martinez rushed for 274 yards with five TDs, and he also got in on the passing game by throwing for 258 yards and two more scores. … QB Owen Mooney threw seven TD passes to help No. 2 Triangle Lake take down CS Lewis Academy 52-12. Mooney also had 357 yards passing, most of that going to Ivan Surcamp with 179 receiving yards and four scores. Mooney also had two interceptions on defense. … No. 4 Joseph blew by South Wasco County 56-7. Kooper Grover had seven total touchdowns with 133 rushing yards and three TDs on the ground, plus 217 yards receiving with four more scores. He also had 13.5 tackles on defense while QB Waylon Witherrite had 305 yards passing with four TDs.

No. 9 Elkton made it no contest in a shocking 53-7 win over No. 8 Powers. Talon Harvey led the way with 158 rushing yards on only six carries with four TDs and a pick on defense. The Elks had four turnovers on defense with Wyatt Rollefson recovering a fumble and returning an INT 45 yards for a score. … You couldn’t ask for a better night from Leo Lemus in Ione/Arlington’s 79-6 win over Huntington. Lemus rushed for 220 yards with six TDs while also coming up with two interceptions on defense and eight tackles. Adrian Mendoza chipped in two TDs as well for the Cardinals. … Days Creek defeated McKenzie 20-12. Joe Young had 102 yards rushing with a TD, receiving TD and a passing TD.
