Emery Curtis had a three-run triple in the decisive rally. Emily Sakys had three hits, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs. Meadow Sanborn hit a three-run homer and pitched 4 1/3 innings of hitless relief, fanning eight. The Lions finished with 17 hits. Nelson's Abigail Huspek hit a solo homer and two-run double. … Roseburg blanked visiting Sandy 4-0 behind a complete-game shutout by Cambria Bachmeier. Ariel Glynn and Mackenzie Roberts combined for the shutout, fanning eight. … North Medford defeated error-plagued Century 9-2, scoring five runs in the fifth inning to open a 7-0 lead. The visiting Jaguars outhit North Medford 7-4, but left 10 runners on base and committed 12 errors. Audrey Varozza pitched a six-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Falcons. … Aleah Peck went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and pitched 1 2/3 innings in relief of Abby Southwick to help North Valley turn back Rainier 9-6. Maddy Twitchell went 3 for 4 with an RBI for Rainier. …Brooklyn Huddleston and Kayla Hecht hit home runs and Madison Hunsaker went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI for Harrisburg/Monroe, which ousted Nyssa/Adrian 8-6. Powers, a first-year program with no seniors, notched its first playoff win by coming back to beat visiting Kennedy 12-11 in 10 innings. The Cruisers were down to their final out in the seventh inning but scored two runs to force extra innings. They trailed again in the 10th before rallying to win. EmiLia Swenson (5 for 6, two doubles, four RBIs) and Danika Bushnell (3 for 5, double, three RBIs) sparked the Powers offense. Kennedy's Grace Traeger went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. … Union/Cove outslugged Gervais 14-12 behind Cabella Gregory, who hit two homers, including a grand slam, and had five RBIs. Kali Amy went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs, Amanda Lawyer belted her 10th homer and Avi Allen went 4 for 4 for the Bobcats. Gervais' Addy McCargar went 4 for 4 with a double, two homers and five RBIs. …
Taylor Pass and Kate Maher each went 2 for 3 with a home run to help propel Knappa past Lowell 13-3 in five innings. Georgia Sutton pitched five innings, allowing four hits, striking out six and walking three for Knappa. … Isabelle Arthur pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts and one walk to lead Perrydale past Glendale 10-0 in six innings.
