McDaniel cut the lead to 4-2 with 20 minutes left on goals by Eli White and Bryan Carmona Zepeda. … No. 30 seed Grant took down No. 6 Aloha 2-1, winning a shootout 5-4. Grant's Charlie Moss scored in the 79th minute, answering a goal by Aloha's James Feuerbacher in the 52nd minute. In the shootout, Generals goalkeeper Will Peterson made one save and Travis Weksler, Cameron Lorie, Oscar Kohn, Miles Osnall and Owen Bonnin converted their kicks. … Pablo Salazar Rodriguez scored in the 77th minute to give No. 2 Jesuit a 1-0 win over West Linn. … No. 1 Lakeridge defeated Franklin 2-0. No. 3 seed La Salle Prep defeated No. 6 McKay 3-2 to avenge a loss in last year's state final. The Falcons got the game-winner with two minutes left when Vance Sheffield scored on a rebound of his own header, off a corner kick by Kevin Serrano Maldonado. It was Sheffield's 32nd goal of the season. After falling behind 1-0 in the 17th minute, the Falcons got goals from Vala Saghafi in the 38th minute and Serrano Maldonado in the 44th minute to lead 2-1. The Royal Scots tied it 2-2 in the 76th minute. … No. 2 Summit stopped Ashland 5-0 to return to the semifinals for the fifth consecutive postseason. Gabe Lachman scored off a corner kick by Bowen Teuber in the seventh minute and Tommy Carrollo made a penalty kick in the 22nd minute. The Huskies won 3-2, prevailing 6-5 in a penalty-kick shootout. Riley Nordloff anchored the defense against the Pirates, who played one man down. … McLoughlin avenged a loss to Oregon Episcopal in last year's state final by dropping the Aardvarks 4-2. The Pioneers led 1-0 at half on a goal by Michael Wolden, but Oregon Episcopal rebounded and led 2-1 with 20 minutes to go. Almikar Garcia scored twice and Geovanny Sandoval had a goal down the stretch as McLoughlin pulled ahead. … Westside Christian advanced to the semifinals for the first time in school history by blanking Blanchet Catholic 3-0 on three second-half goals. West Linn stunned No. 1 and reigning champion Jesuit 1-0 by outscoring the Crusaders 3-1 in a penalty-kick shootout. The Lions who lost to Jesuit 1-0 in last year's state final, ended the Crusaders' 35-game winning streak. Jesuit had a 17-7 edge in shots but could not convert against West Linn goalkeeper Nyamma Nelson, who had 12 saves in regulation and overtime. In the shootout, Nelson stopped two shots and added the clinching penalty kick, following makes by Kate Cheldelin and Kyree Schreck. … Three teams from the Portland Interscholastic League moved on to the semifinals as Cleveland beat Mountainside 3-1, Lincoln outscored Sunset 5-3 and Grant held off Sheldon 2-0. ... No. 3 Lincoln got goals from three freshmen in Vega Arancibia, Margot Jackson and Chloe Horton, as well as from sophomore Frances Reuland and senior Alana Harry. La Salle Prep edged Summit 2-1, winning a penalty-kick shootout 3-2. Serafina Preciso made two saves in the shootout for the Falcons, who got successful penalty kicks from Natalie Gonzalez, Stella Gibbons and Lilly Erving. Gonzalez had La Salle Prep's regulation goal, off an assist by Sydney Potter. … North Eugene dominated Silverton 6-0, getting two goals and two assists from Zari Thomas and two goals and one assist from Kendal Priaulx. Cricket Phelps and Kolbi Priaulx also scored and Brianna Sullivan notched a shutout for the Highlanders. … Goals from Ashlyn Ring and Kenley Whittaker were enough for reigning champion Wilsonville to slide past Northwest Oregon Conference rival Canby 2-1. … Caldera dispatched Crescent Valley 2-0. Cloe Chase scored her 51st goal of the season in the third minute to help propel top-seeded and reigning champion Marist Catholic past Gladstone 3-1. The Gladiators drew even in the first half on a goal by Tori Vera, but Libby McLaughlin and Ava Snyder scored second-half goals for the Spartans, who extended their unbeaten streak to 33. McLaughlin had two assists. … North Marion fell behind The Dalles 1-0 in the 16th minute before taking over in a 5-1 win. Izzy Doubrava and Caile Lader scored to put the Huskies up 2-1 at half.
