WILSONVILLE, Ore., November 30, 2023 – The Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) is proud to announce a partnership with the Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council (ODNC), recognizing milk as the Official Recovery Beverage of the OSAA.

The ODNC’s origins trace back to 1918, signifying over a century of commitment to the promotion of the advantages of dairy nutrition. Not only are dairy foods delicious, but they are good for you. Packed with 13 essential nutrients including protein and carbohydrates, milk is an essential recovery tool for every athlete. Milk, both white and chocolate, provides electrolytes, calcium, potassium and magnesium, and is made of 90% water, which makes it the perfect beverage to help rehydrate and replenish the body.

As the ODNC celebrates over a century of promoting dairy excellence, it reaffirms its dedication to the health and well-being of Oregonians through this partnership and its support of Oregon communities. Partnering with OSAA will help empower Oregonians to make health-conscious choices including delicious and nutritious dairy via education and promotion for athletes, fans and educators about the health benefits of milk for recovery and overall performance.
