Automatic Qualifiers – First place winner in each individual and relay event at each District Meet automatically qualifies for the OSAA's State Championships.
- Consolation finalists and Championship finalists in individual and relay events at each District Meet who meet the qualifying standard (9th place average of the last three State Meets with the standard never to be easier than the previous year) automatically qualify. Any remaining open lanes will be filled by the next fastest times from District Meet finals, up to a total of 18 participants.
- Cutoff Date – The automatic qualifiers must be determined by 10pm on Saturday, February 15.
Para-Athletes

Automatic Qualifiers – The top nine times statewide from the different Districts Meet
combined in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke automatically qualifies
regardless of gender or disability. A documented disability must be provided to the OSAA prior to competing
in the district meet. If more than nine students compete in district meets, the OSAA will explore splitting
out the events by gender.
