Rankings Freeze and Play-In Dates Summary

32-team OSAA bracket
Automatic Qualifiers – Twenty-one teams automatically qualify for the OSAA's 32-team bracket based on
regular season and/or district tournament play on or before Tuesday, October 26. Each league determines how they will select
their three allotted playoff spots.
PIL - Grant, Cleveland, Lincoln
Metro - Jesuit, Mountainside, Sunset
Pacific - Forest Grove, Glencoe, Sherwood
Mt. Hood - Clackamas, Reynolds, Central Catholic
Three Rivers - West Linn, Lakeridge, Tualatin
Mountain Valley - Summit, South Salem, McKay
Southwest - South Eugene, South Medford, Grants Pass
Rankings Freeze Date – The rankings will freeze at 10pm on Tuesday, October 26.
At-Large Qualifiers – Eleven additional teams qualify for the OSAA's 32-team bracket
based on the OSAA rankings. Once the rankings are frozen, the 11 highest ranked teams
not already an automatic league qualifier will qualify as At-Large teams.
At-Large #1 - Liberty
At-Large #2 - McMinnville
At-Large #3 - Franklin
At-Large #4 - West Salem
At-Large #5 - Southridge
At-Large #6 - Beaverton
At-Large #7 - North Medford
At-Large #8 - Centennial
At-Large #9 - McNary
At-Large #10 - Roseburg
At-Large #11 - McDaniel
Rankings – Once the 32 qualifying teams are determined, they will be placed on the OSAA bracket
according to OSAA Executive Board Policy “State Championships – Rankings”.
