Sherwood broke a 4-4 tie by hitting three home runs in a five-run sixth inning to defeat host McMinnville 9-4 in a game between Pacific Conference teams. Maisy Schindler went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs, Destiny Cornwell went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs and Jordyn Henderson hit a solo shot for Sherwood, which had an 11-9 edge in hits. Cornwell pitched six innings in relief of Faith McHill, striking out five and allowing two earned runs. ... South Medford eliminated South Salem 2-1 behind Kaycee Hudson, who pitched a five-hitter with 12 strikeouts. Hudson shut down the Saxons after allowing a first-inning, leadoff homer to Mackenzie Scott. Hudson also helped supply offense, singling and scoring on a sacrifice fly by Sydney Boren in the first inning and delivering a two-out, RBI single in the second inning. South Salem's Rowan Thompson pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts. …

Sheldon got past North Medford 2-0, getting a two-run homer from Kinley Pappas in the bottom of the fifth inning. Pappas had two of the Irish's three hits. Payton Burnham pitched a three-hitter with 16 strikeouts and no walks for Sheldon. … Oregon City dispatched Southridge 3-1 on Saturday as Lily Riley pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk. Allyson Nordling hit an RBI double in a two-run first inning for the Pioneers. Southridge pitcher Amanda Peterson homered the cut the lead to 2-1 in the fifth inning, and Oregon City answered in the bottom of the fifth with an RBI single by Gina Allen, making it 3-1. Peterson allowed five hits and fanned five for the Skyhawks.

Dallas/Perrydale shut down La Salle Prep 9-0 as Kadence Morrison fanned eight in a three-hitter. Jordan Cresswell, Madi Ruman, Kaelyn Golden and Grace Walls each had two hits for the Dragons. Walls drove in two runs. … Wilsonville turned back Northwest Oregon Conference rival Putnam 3-1 behind Anna Jardin, who struck out six and didn't walk a batter. Grace Wilson had an RBI single in the first inning and Maddie Holly added a run-scoring triple in the third inning. Talia Valdez had two hits for Wilsonville, which got payback after losing both conference games against Putnam this season. …

Addisen Fisher pitched a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks and had a home run and two RBIs for Bend, which subdued Crater 7-0. Lauren Glasser went 3 for 3 with a double, home run and two RBIs and Taylor Aldrich had a home run and three RBIs for Bend, which had seven hits. The Lava Bears scored two runs in each of the first three innings to lead 6-0. … Lebanon scored seven runs in the fourth inning and coasted to a 10-2 win over Canby. The Warriors outhit Canby 12-3, getting two hits each from Alivia Holden, Emma Sheets and Tatum Cole. Holden had two doubles and an RBI, Sheets had a double and two RBIs and Cole hit a two-run homer and had three RBIs. Holden pitched the first 4 1/3 innings and Cole finished the game in relief.

Heavy-hitting The Dalles blasted four home runs to throttle Astoria 18-2 in four innings. Jeilane Stewart went 3 for 4 with two home runs and five RBIs, Kaleyah Crichton-Tunai had a home run and five RBIs and Keiliani Crichton-Tunai homered and had three RBIs for the Riverhawks, who scored four runs in the first inning and 10 runs in the second inning to lead 14-2. Kennedy Abbas recorded the win, allowing four hits and one earned run and striking out five. … Abby Stansbury went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and Saige Casey pitched a two-hit shutout, backed by errorless defense, in Scappoose's 4-0 win over Stayton. Ava Vetsch went 3 for 4 with a double and triple, scored twice and had an RBI. …

Henley outlasted Crook County 9-8, throwing out two runners at the plate in the seventh inning on ground balls hit to the pitcher. Henley led 7-3 in the second inning, fell behind 8-7 in the fourth, then pulled ahead 9-8 in the bottom of the fourth. Lily Fitzpatrick had two home runs and four RBIs and Natalie Hudson and Anna Harper both went deep for the Hornets, who won despite being outhit 11-7. Danner Hemphill and Chloe McKenzie each went 3 for 4 with an RBI for Crook County, which dropped all three meetings with Henley this season. … Pendleton erupted for eight runs in the second inning and five runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 14-0, five-inning win over La Grande. The teams split four games in the Greater Oregon League this season, but the Buckaroos dominated the reigning 4A champion Tigers in the rubber match. Kendall Murphy pitched a one-hitter with three strikeouts, Reese Furstenberg went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and Avery Quaempts hit a three-run homer. La Grande committed six errors and Pendleton played error-free.

Scio handled Valley Catholic 8-1 as Myleigh Cooper threw a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and hit a two-run homer. Cam Dalke went 3 for 3 and Skylur Brown had two hits and three RBIs. … Yamhill-Carlton defeated Enterprise/Joseph/Wallowa 13-2 in five innings, getting two-run homers from Cecelia Petraitis and Taylor Bradfield and a solo shot from Kaitlyn Knapp. Petraitis drove in five runs, Briley Ingram had three RBIs and Bradfield and Knapp each had two RBIs. Lexiss Antle went 3 for 3 with a double and scored three runs. Ingram threw a four-hitter with seven strikeouts. …

Tyler McNeley threw a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts for Lakeview, which edged South Umpqua 1-0 in a battle between Special District 3 rivals. LeeAnn Dillavou scored the game's only run on a fielder's choice.
