Classification: Seasonal Position 

Position Summary: Sunset High School, a 6A member of the Metro League and Oregon Activities Association (OSAA) is looking to fill its coaching staff with qualified assistant coaches for the 2024-25 season. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of the head coach to support the school and athletics by providing a positive environment and experience. Serving as a coach on the girls basketball staff it is important that the individual(s) possess excellent knowledge of the game and the ability to teach it, leadership skills, a passion for working with kids, and an ability to develop student athletes into great people as well as basketball players.

Experience: High school/college/club coaching experience preferred.

Coaches Compensation: $2500-$3000/Seasonal

Length of Paid Contract: November 11th, 2024 through February 21st, 2025

The ideal candidate must also be available to help during off season training and development (April-May), as well as summer workouts and camp (June).
