Preseason Statewide Football Coaches Poll Class 3A

OSAAtoday is thrilled to present its preseason statewide Football Class 3A Coaches Poll. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this first-time endeavor.

Look for the polls every week during the fall season.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Notes: Cascade Christian beat Santiam Christian 28-21 in last year's championship game. ... Santiam Christian graduated quarterback Grant Carley (second-team all-state) but brings back receiver Jason Manzi (first team) and running back Luke Jensen (second team). ... Cascade Christian lost a four-year starter at quarterback in Haiden Schaan. His junior brother, Kiegan, will move over from receiver to replace him. ... Scio and Rainier were semifinalists last season. ... Vale won the title in 2014 and 2015.
