Kyle Stanfield: Ben, we will post this presentation Kyle Stanfield: Along with the recording of this presentation Kyle Stanfield: And much of this is within the planbooks Kyle Cowan: How do we determine percentage of field maximum capacity? Is it square footage. I am wondering about baseball/softball for example [Files]: https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le2351s.pdf Mike Hughes: Regarding the new 3' rule rather than 6' for schools, does that apply to OSAA sports? For example, students sitting in the dugout or on a tennis team bench. Is 3' distance okay? Kyle Stanfield: @Mike - HS sports are under the outdoor/indoor guidance so we are still under the 6ft minimum Mikel Blok: As you know how our brains work...sorry to jump ahead but.... What is the timeline for Season 4 approvals (ex. Contact indoor sports)? Kyle Stanfield: @Mikel - we are still working on that with the OHA, Gov office and then with our Board. No new information as of today Jeff Clark: BUT MAKE THEM WEAR THEIR MASKS!! No one likes it, but its what we need to do. Ben Winegar: In the TRL, we had the following regulation for our district meet: “as long as the state mask mandate remains, anyone who willfully disregards the mandate will be disqualified.” Ben Winegar: We DQ’d with officials from two different schools reporting violations of the same student athlete Ben Winegar: With XC, we considered it a competitive advantage, which was the main reason the DQ was needed. Dan Dalzell: For the MHC conference XC meet, each school has to send a COVID compliance monitor. They all will have a walkie-talkie and will call out any runner number who is warned about their mask. If a runner is seen with a second mask violation, they will be pulled off the course/DQ’d. Tony: Did I hear earlier in the meeting that only extreme and high counties must contact trace? Kyle Stanfield: @Tony - Here is directly from the slide: Kyle Stanfield: Outdoor Spring Sports Contact tracing required for all participants, coaches, officials, etc. Contact tracing for spectators – required only in High/Extreme Kelly Bokn: Maximum contests for SB/BB? Kyle Stanfield: 19 Clay Rounsaville: 19? Kyle Stanfield: @Kelly with the additions while giving the 6th week back its been moved from 15 to 19 Kelly Bokn: Thank you Mike Hughes: 19 can be played any time correct? In other words, we don't have to play the +4 on Culmination week, we can play them prior to culmination week? Kyle Stanfield: @Mike You have 19 games to be played anytime during the 6 weeks cforste: So the home team still supplies the game balls, but the defensive team will be responsible for putting them in to the game Kris Welch: @Clint Yes, defensive team will be responsible for putting their game balls into play, so the home team should give their opponents the game balls prior to the game and let them do their sanitizing. Kelly Bokn: Schools that have small numbers…4 or 6 participants. Can they attend another match and play one of the schools after the first match……I guess that would count as a multi-match? K.T. Emerson: It would count as a multi-match day and a student can play up to 2 full matches per day in tennis. (That is a USTA limitation) Tim Sam: Masks required for parents watching at golf courses? Kelly Foster: @Tim - yes, they are considered spectators
