Ohlson placed seventh at freestyle nationals in the summer.

Notes: Dallas and Crater have finished in the top two the last two seasons, Crater winning in 2017 and Dallas in 2018. Hermiston, which won nine titles from 2007 to 2016, has moved to the Washington association. Crook County -- winner of four of the last five 4A titles, including last year -- joins 5A. Crescent Valley senior Legend Lamer, a national champion, is going for his fourth state title (106, 120, 138). His sophomore brother, Chance Lamer, won the title at 113 last year and placed fifth in the Cadet World Championships. North Salem junior Ein Carlos, a two-time 6A champion (145, 152), drops to 5A.

Wallowa senior Steve Beckman is a two-time champion at 106.
