2010 Speech State Championship Results
Nearly 500 high school students representing 67 schools participated at the OSAA / U.S. Bank / Les Schwab Tires 2010 Speech State Championships held Thursday, April 22, through Saturday, April 24, at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.
The results of the competition were:
6A Sweepstakes: 1.Tigard High School - 56 points; 2. Clackamas High School - 39 points; 3. Lakeridge High School (Lake Oswego) - 35 points; 4. Sprague High School (Salem) - 34 points; 5. Sam Barlow High School (Gresham) - 33 points.
5A Sweepstakes: 1. Ashland High School - 93 points; 2. Silverton High School - 36 points; 3. Marshfield High School (Coos Bay) - 30 points; 4. Mountain View High School (Bend) - 29 points; 5. South Albany High School - 28 points.
4A/3A/2A/1A Sweepstakes: 1. North Valley High School (Grants Pass) - 43 points; 2. Tillamook High School - 22 points; 3. Blanchet Catholic High School (Salem) - 18 points; 4.
